Vinyasa Yoga helps to build overall strength and flexibility

Vinyasa yoga is a unique form of yoga where poses are linked with breath in a flowing sequence and the beauty of this style of yoga is the variety. Depending on your needs the flow can be dynamic with focus on strengthening postures or it could be slow with an emphasis on mobility and flexibility. You will be guided through the session with awareness between postures and careful correction of body alignment.

Benefits of Vinyasa Yoga :

  • Cardiovascular health improves by building internal heat through continual movements from one pose to another

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses ( asanas ) for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets and bolsters. It promotes deep relaxation that is beneficial to body and mind. Once the body enters the state of relaxation the mind can also consciously relax as tension is released from both body and mind. The only work required from the restorative session is to focus on your breath and enjoy the sensation if feeling stretched and supported.

Benefits of Restorative Yoga

  • Increased relaxation : Deep breathing calms the nervous system to promote relaxation. Studies have shown that restorative yoga is more effective at inducing relaxation than regular passive stretch.
  • Better Sleep : the more relaxed you are , the better your chances are of getting a good night’s rest
  • Reduced pain : restorative yoga helps to ease and manage musculoskeletal pain
  • Gentle on the body : this type of yoga is gentle on the joints and consistent practice can strengthen the connective tissues that surrounds the bones and joints.
